Last month, memories of the destruction that followed the Wenchuan earthquake flooded back into the minds of visitors to the Beichuan Museum, in the Beichuan Qiang Autonomous County in southwest China's Sichuan Province. Saturday marks the 10th anniversary of the earthquake. On May 12, 2008, a magnitude-8.0 earthquake hit Wenchuan County in the Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province. More than 69,000 people were killed, 18,000 went missing, and millions lost their homes.
