Lights out for Earth Hour 2019 across China

Two photos are combined to show the view of the National Aquatic Center or "Water Cube" in Beijing before and after lights were turned off at 8:30 pm on Saturday (local time). The initiative, which started as a symbolic lights-off event by the WWF in Sydney, Australia in 2007, has now become the world's largest grassroots movement for people to show their commitment to tackle climate change and protect nature.
