Photo taken on April 15, 2019 shows a lingzhi mushroom in Hongqi Village, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, northeast China’s Jilin Province. The village, home to some 200 ethnic Korean individuals, started to build lingzhi mushroom greenhouses in 2017, with investments from local government and a tourism company. Villagers are now able to enjoy the benefits, as some of them have been employed to work in the greenhouses. While in the meantime, picking lingzhi mushrooms has also become an unmissable experience for tourists when they stop by the village to catch a glimpse of its unique Korean ethnic customs. Covering an area of 1.5 hectares, the five lingzhi mushroom greenhouses are an important source of income in the village. [Photo: China Plus/Huang Yue]
