​World's biggest driftwood animal sculpture on display at Beijing Expo

A sculpture of giraffes called "Molly and her Family" made from driftwood is on display on the rooftop of the Botanic Garden at the Beijing Horticultural Expo on June 10, 2019. The ten-ton sculpture is made of molave wood and stands at 10 meters tall. The molave tree is classified as endangered species that almost became extinct in the 20th century due to over-harvesting and habitat loss. [Photo: China Plus/Li Yi]
