Stunning scenery of red land in Yunnan

Aerial photo taken on July 12, 2019 shows the scenery of Dongchuan Red Land in the city of Kunming, southwest Yunnan Province. Dongchuan Red Land, located at Huashitou Village, is about 250 kilometers (155 miles) northwest of Kunming, the capital city of Yunnan Province. The land's red color comes from the soil's richness in iron and aluminum. Recently, the unpredictable summer weather dyed the land more charming colors, making it a “natural palette.” [Photo: IC]
