Tan Dun leads Chinese New Year Concert in Washington D.C.

A Chinese New Year concert is held in the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C. on the night of February 15th, 2018. The concert was jointly presented by renowned Chinese conductor and composer Tan Dun and the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra. Titles featured included Chinese traditional Suona piece"100 Birds Flying Towards the Phoenix," scores by Tan Dun for the movie "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," "The Firebird Suite" by Igor Stravinsky, among others.
