In the wake of the recently deadly school shooting in Florida, hundreds of thousands of protesters gathered in cities across the United States on Saturday to demand action against school gun violence.

About 800,000 people attended the "March for Our Lives" rally in Washington DC. Survivors of the Parkland school shooting and previous school gun violence tragedies took to the stage on Pennsylvania Avenue to call on Congress to make changes to gun legislation.

Rallies were also held in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, among others. "March for Our Lives" was organized after 19-year-old Nicholas Cruz killed 17 people in Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida on February 24th.
