Gawkers gander at geese going for their morning exercise

Farmer Richard Botterill of Town End Farm led his flock of geese through the village of Croxton Kerrial for their morning stroll and feed. The free range geese are destined for Christmas dinner tables around the country later this year. The Botterill family have farmed in the village for more than 70 years. They have 1,500 geese, 3,000 turkeys, 2,000 chickens, and 400 breeding ewes. [Photo: VCG]
