Ford designs noise-cancelling kennel for dogs

The prototype of the noise-cancelling kennel designed by Ford. The kennel is using noise-cancelling technique to help dogs fight off the noise caused by thunder or fireworks. Dogs have a much wider range of hearing than humans, meaning noises that do not bother humans can negatively affect dogs. The idea was derived from the technique that has been using on its newly developed Edge SUV, which ensures a quieter journey for the drivers. The kennel is not currently for sale, but a first in a series of initiatives, Ford says, that will apply "automotive know-how" to help solve everyday problems. [Photo:IC]
