Straw artwork highlights plastic pollution

They spent over 6 months to collect 168,000 straws, and then spent another two weeks to clean, organize and prepare the straws for their artwork. The straws were organized by color to present different parts of a wave, with delicate details such as LED lights, a colorful background and a 360 view of the installation. That's how "The Parting of the Plastic Sea" was created. [Photo: IC]
