President Xi Jinping has extended his New Year greetings to migrant workers living in the Chinese capital. During a visit to a small restaurant in Qianmen on Friday, President Xi said to the owner, who is originally from outside Beijing, "I hope you will have a thriving business and a happy New Year!" He said that he might come back for a meal, and the owner told him "Have some food today. It's on me!" It got a laugh from the onlookers.
