Born in 1949: Red Relics

"This collection doesn't just belong to me; it belongs to everyone in our country," said Jin Tiehua, the founder of Beijing's first community museum for Red relics, objects that represent the history of the Communist Party of China. Jin is 70 years old – the same age as the People's Republic of China. "I spent almost all my salary on Red collecting," he said. "The most important one is the invitation to the inauguration of the People's Republic."
