Street dance is not new, but you might be surprised to see this one, members of an acrobatic troupe from Tianjin perform a street dance all while on stilts. A stilt is made by fitting a footrest on a long stick. Players tread on the treadles, tie the stilts onto their legs, then use the stilts in their performance.

In ancient times, acrobatic stilt performances could be seen at the imperial palace. Later, it became a popular show for the public and is now usually seen during traditional Chinese festivals like Spring Festival.
