Barkhor Street in Lhasa undergoes renewal

Barkhor, a thousand-year-old street surrounding the Jokhang Temple, is one of the more popular walkways in the old district of Tibet's regional capital, Lhasa. The local government in Lhasa has been taking steps to try to protect the historical and cultural value of Barkhor.
