The largest college dormitory in Asia is located on the campus of the University of International Business and Economics in the Chinese capital Beijing.

Housing at least 10,000 female students, the Hong Yuan Building covers over 90,000 square meters and is composed of 2,000 rooms. It has been used for more than ten years.

Students say people can easily get lost inside the Hong Yuan Building without a map. A student is rumored to have stayed inside the gigantic complex without setting foot outside of it for three months at a time, as it is equipped with a supermarket, a barbershop and stores that sell clothes and mobile phones, which can satisfy all the basic needs of the students.
