Houston Museum installs insect vending machines

The Houston Museum of Natural Science has installed insect vending machines, as part of an exhibit about insects, spiders, and crustaceans. As a good source of nutrition and better for the environment to farm than cattle, insects are included in the diets of many cultures around the world, including in many parts of Asia. The museum wanted to give their patrons a chance to try insects for themselves.
