"Lucid Waters and Lush Mountains Are Invaluable Assets", was first proposed in 2005 by President Xi Jinping during his visit to Anji County, Huzhou, when he was the Party chief of southeast China's Zhejiang province. Since then, the local government of Huzhou City has strived to improve its environmental strategy.
