When the devastating 2008 Sichuan earthquake struck, Li Junfeng was a fourth grade student. Ten years have passed. Now he is a college student, majoring in photography at Sichuan Film & Television University. Over the past ten years, he has been recording moments of Beichuan County and its people through photography.

“This is my hometown, and my people suffered. As I grow older, I realize more and more the importance of recording this period of history. More than 30 years after the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, people still have been going back to the site for the sake of recording history, let alone the Sichuan earthquake that severely affected so many areas. As long as the survivors live, I will keep recording their lives," says Li Junfeng.
