Just like the character Po in the popular film Kung Fu Panda, pandas live in the Giant Panda base in China. Just because they are cuddly, doesn't mean they can't stand up for themselves. Adult pandas are quite able to hold their own against ferocious predators, such as jackals.

They are not just good climbers, they can swim well too. More importantly, their mighty teeth and paws allow them to carry weight even greater than their own body.

At the age of six months, pandas have already mastered the vital skill of climbing, in order to avoid other animals, bathe in the sun, play and find a mate. Human-bred pandas face no threats from predators, and mainly climb for fun.
