Magic Pedestrian Overpass

Chongqing is known as the 'Mountain City,' and because of its complex terrain, many unique and interesting traffic solutions have been devised.

One pedestrian overpass connects the ground level of one street with the 13th floor of an adjacent building. Each day, local residents take the elevator up to the 13th floor, cross the pedestrian overpass to reach a neighboring district.
