My China Story - Italian woman commits herself to introducing China and its language
In 2005, Luisa Paladini quit her job at a bank to open the first Chinese language school for kids in Italy, despite not knowing the language and never having been to China. But that didn't stop her from taking up the challenge, and today her school is very popular. It offers Chinese language courses to children starting from the age of 5.
As we find out, one of Luisa Paladini's ancestors played a key role in defining the image of China across Europe in the 1500s.
