Media Leaders Summit for Asia

In this era of change and challenges, including terrorism, climate change, cyber security, starvation and poverty, a new global governance system is needed to promote the building of a community with a shared future for humanity. In the era of new media, media plays an important part in the global governance system and has a key role in reshaping society and maintaining global order.

The Media Leaders Summit for Asia, carrying forward the spirit of the previous Media Leaders Roundtable, and with the theme of “A New Era of Media Cooperation in Asia—Interconnectivity and Innovative Development”, brings together leaders and heads of mainstream media from more than 40 countries and regions around the globe. We will discuss, with fairness, reason, and pragmatism, how Asian media organizations can work together to transcend cultural differences and create a new era of cooperation and growth through interconnectivity and innovative development.
