Scars of Nanking won Daytime Emmy Awards
"Scars of Nanking," co-produced by Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation and A+E Networks in the US has won the award for "Outstanding Cinematography" at the annual Daytime Emmy Awards.The one-hour documentary tells the history of American missionaries who put their own lives at risk to protect Chinese refugees during the Japanese military's mass slaughter in Nanjing, China's former war time capital, in late 1937 and early 1938.
