Exhibition featuring ancient Chinese empresses underway in Washington

Photo taken on March 28, 2019 shows an artwork exhibited during a preview of the exhibition titled "Empresses of China's Forbidden City, 1644-1912" at the Smithsonian's Arthur M. Sackler Gallery in Washington, D.C., the United States. Many beautiful objects are exhibited, including imperial robes, jewelry and portraits.
