Born to Mei Xiang and Tian Tian on August 22, 2015, at the Smithsonian's National Zoo in Washington D.C., Bei Bei returned to China last month in line with the terms of a collaboration agreement between China and the United States.
Bei Bei got a clean bill of health to end his quarantine. He has adapted well to his new environment, and has already gained some weight.
