American female marines' uniform during WW2

A series of photos published in a new book show American female marines' uniform styles and their lives during WW2. According to these photos, these brave women dressed in different styles of uniforms in different season. They learned skills like how to drive a truck, repair an airplane and manage their lives. They were stationed at Pearl Harbour until being transferred to the Marine Air Base in 1945. [Photo:IC]
