'Walk for Water' draws awareness of women and water in developing countries

A group of women, representing WaterAid's NYC "Walk for Water", walked through midtown New York on Monday to show the daily lives of their peers in developing countries. Each woman is representing a country where many people do not have clean water close to home and will carry a yellow bucket that holds 5 gallons, a typical amount of water carried by women in countries where access to water is difficult.
