Meet the oldest American alligator in captivity, who might be older than your grandparents! Muja at the Belgrade Zoo in Serbia is the world's oldest living American alligator in captivity. Muja settled in the zoo from Germany in 1937, the second year the zoo opened. Thus, Muja has become the symbol and one of the most popular stars there. He is also a witness of history because he survived through World War II and three bombings of Belgrade. [Photo: VCG]
