20-year-old Pulisic youngest captain for U.S. soccer team

Christian Pulisic has become the youngest captain for the United States' soccer team at the age of 20 years, 63 days. 

Pulisic wore the captain's armband during an international friendly in which Italy defeated the United States 1-0.

Pulisic first joined the senior men's team when he was called up by the then national team coach Juergen Klinsmann in 2016 and made his national team debut in the world cup qualifiers when he was 17. He has 9 goals under his belt in 22 appearances for the U.S. national team. 

Pulisic is under contract to play for Germany's Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund until 2020 and is sought after by many European clubs.
