North California fire causes evacuations

A blaze dubbed the Sand Fire started in Northern California's Yolo County on Saturday. The fire has grown sharply and reached about 2,200 acres by Sunday afternoon. Strong winds have fanned the flames, and the fire is reportedly threatening several structures and caused the closure of the area's main highway.
