'10-minute' cancer test developed in Australia

Researchers at Australia's University of Queensland have developed a test that can detect whether a tumor is present anywhere in the human body by identifying a unique DNA structure in just 10 minutes.

The test, announced in a study published by Nature on Tuesday, offers an alternative and less invasive method for cancer detection in the human body. It has yet to be used on humans and large clinical trials are needed before it can be used on prospective patients.
