Pointer mongrel Lejon plays with the three weeks old white lion cub Jojo on July 27, 2012 in Stukenbrock, Germany.
Pointer mongrel Lejon who adopted the cub that had to be separated shortly after birth because of an infection of umbillical cord from its mother. Now hand raised by caretaker Jeannette Wurms. After days of treatment we were not sure whether the mother would accept her baby. So for safety reasons we are hand raising and bottle feeding. I am glad that Jojo has found something like a step father and step brother in my playfull and loving pointer-mongrel Lejon. [Photo: VCG]
