New high-speed train debuts on Beijing to Lanzhou route

The Beijing to Lanzhou high-speed train began operations on July 9th, which marks first ever domestic railway network in the the northwest region in China. Lanzhou is the capital city and also the largest city of Gansu province, which is a key regional transportation hub connecting the far west regions and the eastern regions of China.
The new high-speed train will help passengers travelling between Beijing to Lanzhou reach their destination in about 9 hours, shortening the trip by approximately 7 hours.

The Beijing-Lanzhou line will leave its port of origin in the morning and reach its destination in the evening. A model G429 leaves Beijing West Railway Station at 10:50, and is planned to arrive at Lan Zhouxi Railway Station at 20:00. A model G430 departs from Lanzhou at 9:53am, and is scheduled to arrive at Beijing West Railway Station at 18:53.
First class tickets are priced at 1056.5 yuan, and second class tickets and business class tickets are priced at 690 yuan and 2153.5 yuan respectively.
