Jack Ma to sponsor Chinese women's football team

Alibaba CEO Jack Ma has come up with a plan to sponsor the Chinese women's football team. 

Chinese media including Xinmin Evening Daily report that Alibaba has mapped out a plan and its sports branch has committed a team for the sponsorship.

Ma presented the award to China's women's national team after they became runners-up at the Asian Games in Indonesia. He also voiced his support to the players in the post-game locker room. 

Alibaba's Ant Financial sponsored Hainan's Qiongzhong women's football team last year, as well as this year's Women's University Football League.
