The thinnest TV in the world was put on display at an electronics market in Shenzhen through the National Day holiday, reports sina.com.
The television measures only 3.65 millimeters thick, half of size of the 7.3 millimeters Apple iphone 8.

It's also slimmer than the world's thinnest smartphone to date, the 4.75mm Oppo R5.
Since the first television was produced in China in 1958, the country has now become the world's largest TV manufacturer.
At the end of 2016, China was producing close to 60 percent of all the television sets in the world.
