印度一座在建立交桥垮塌致18人死亡 18 killed as under-construction flyover collapses in India

At least 18 people have been killed(死亡) and many others feared trapped(被困) after an under-construction(在建的) flyover(立交桥) collapsed(垮塌) on Tuesday afternoon in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

The flyover collapsed at rush hours(高峰期) on a busy road. "We are carrying out the rescue work(救援工作) and heavy machinery has been pressed into service to move the concrete(混凝土)," a local government official said.

Eyewitnesses(目击者) said those trapped are said to be laborers(工人), bystanders(旁观者) and some pedestrians(行人). Officials fear the death toll(死亡人数) may go up(上升).
