Phoebe Waller-Bridge's Emmy-winning show to screen in China
The one-person show "Fleabag" by the Emmy Award-winning writer and actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge will soon be in cinemas across China thanks to the New Live screening program.
The program features recordings of stage shows that are then screened in cinemas, allowing audiences to enjoy performances from around the world at home.

In addition to "Fleabag", popular British stage shows including "A Midsummer Night's Dream", "Small Island", and "Present Laughter" will be in cinemas in China early next year along with Matthew Bourne's all-male cast performance of "Swan Lake".
Exhibitions and concerts have also become highlights of the New Live theater program, including a portrait exhibition at Britain's National Gallery.
The project was introduced to China in 2015.
