Ponds in Zeya Town in Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, are seen here on Monday, December 2, 2019. Originally settled some 700 years ago in the Ming Dynasty, this area once flourished with paper mills. Villagers cut bamboo from the local hills and soak it in these ponds for at least six months until it softens. The soft pulp can then be used to make paper. [Photo: China Plus/Huang Yue]
