Government issues guidelines to reform China's public hospitals

The Chinese government has vowed to overhaul the old system in which the country's public hospitals have been running on for the past decades. According to a new guideline released by the government, a brand new mechanism is expected to be put in place within the next three years, in a bid to address problems that have long plagued China's public health care system.
