Recently a question on Quora.com has generated a lot of interests. The questioned asked, "Why are Chinese students often in a group, instead of trying to fit into the foreign society?" A lot of Chinese overseas students and international students who are currently studying and living in China provided their answers on Quora.com. It seems like Chinese overseas students are not the only ones who tend to be in groups.

In fact, a lot of international students, mostly not Chinese, believe that "it happens to every international students, it's just their characteristics are not that distinct as Chinese'" and "people are always more comfortable with their compatriots".
