As expats go, we’ve all heard stories of our family members questioning, and even resisting our overall existence and life in China. And for those of us who have lived here for longer periods, it’s a challenge trying to convince our beloved folk that we truly have found a happy home away from home in this country. 

In the past episodes, Nillah Nyakoa has interviewed many expats living in China; but their folks. In this edition of the program, she recently interviewed a visiting parent Candy Davies; whose daughter has been living in China for the past 8 years. In her China story we get an insight into why some friends and family back home may initially be a little skeptical about their kin moving to China and how their minds can be changed.
