CEO of Evergrande listed richest Chinese by Forbes
The CEO of real estate company China Evergrande Group, Xu Jiayin, also known as Hui Ka Yan, has topped the list of the richest Chinese in 2017 by Forbes.

In the context of rapid development in the property market, Hui's net worth surged from 9.9 billion US dollars to 42.5 billion US dollars over the past year, with an increase of 469% of his company's share price.

Pony Ma Huateng, Chairman of Tencent, ranks second with a net worth of 38.9 billion US dollars. And Jack Ma, boss of e-commerce giant Alibaba, slipped behind him by 400 million US dollars.

The list includes 53 new names into the top 400 this year. Zhang Yiming, 33, CEO of Beijing ByteDance Technology, is the youngest of the list. His company's app aggregates content for China's many millions of smartphones. He debuts at No. 60, with a stake worth 4 billion US dollars.
