BMW launches ride-hailing service in Chengdu
Germany's BMW Group launched a ride hailing service in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, on Friday with 200 of its 5-Series vehicles, according to an announcement made on WeChat by the city government.

The move is reportedly part of the giant's premium mobility brand ReachNow, which offers high-end car-sharing services in China. Each of the vehicles is driven by a professionally-trained driver.
The Munich-based car maker is the first overseas car company to obtain a ride-hailing license in China.
