Xiaomi launches new smartphone

Chinese mobile device maker Xiaomi has unveiled its latest smartphone model, December 24, 2019.

"Play" comes with a 14.8 centimeter (5.84 inch) screen, with the models coming in either blue, gold or black.

The new smartphone also has up to 128 GB for storage. Reports say Xiaomi also intends to provide "Play" customers with 10 GB worth of cellular data for free with purchase.

Xiaomi "Play" is expected to retail at around 1,700 yuan (246 US dollars).
