The handset will be the first commercially-available 5G phone in China, and is said to be the world's first dual-SIM 5G handset, allowing owners to switch between 5G and 4G SIM cards.
The phone will be launched on Friday, according to Yu Chengdong, the CEO of Huawei's consumer business group. It will go on sale in China next month.
Business insiders have suggested that the price of the high-profile 5G smartphone will be up to 7,000 yuan (about 1,017 U.S. dollars).
