China News Service reports that the phones are the 5G versions of Huawei's Mate20 X, Vivo's iQOO, Samsung's Note10, and ZTE's AXON10Pro.

Alibaba's Tmall is already taking orders for ZTE's first 5G smartphone. The Huawei Mate20 X will be launched in Shenzhen on Friday, and the company has already submitted an application to sell the phone on Tmall.

There is increasing interest in 5G phones in the Chinese market: There has been a 27-fold increase in the number of searches for 5G phones on Tmall over the past week.

About 20 different 5G phones will soon be available on the market, said Wen Ku, a spokesperson from China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
