Best buds follow each other's footsteps

Video of two young men sliding down some icy steps has gone viral in China.

Their unfortunate slip up was caught on surveillance cameras in Tai'an, Shandong province.

First one lost his footing, and then the other did exactly the same, despite his best attempts to avoid the same fate.

But they both saw the funny side of the situation. Interviewed afterwards, one of them, surnamed Xu said "After seeing my friend slipping, I didn't think I would do the same".

"I tried to walk down a couple of stairs and then eventually lost control myself," chuckled Xu.

After the mishap, the two men are seen getting up and calmly walking away.

Neither of them was hurt.
