Woman uses body to shelter truck's license plate from surveillance camera

It's amazing the lengths people will go to hide their identity when breaking the rules.

One truck driver in Xiao County of Anhui Province, who flouted a ban on big trucks on rural roads, thought he'd found a clever way of avoiding detection.

Fearing a surveillance camera would record his license plate, he got his partner to jog in front of the vehicle through the monitored area.

The footage shows the woman trotting directly ahead of the slowly moving truck, occasionally looking back to make sure her body was covering the plate.

Thanks to the video, the police managed to trace the truck and the driver. They then directed officers on ground to intercept him.

The driver was fined 200 yuan (or about 29 USD).
