A traffic cop smashed the window of a car to save a boy and a senior who had been locked in the vehicle.

Traffic police received a call on April 30th and were told the baby and the senior were in the car parked on the side of a highway near Nanchang, and the driver had left the scene.

The baby boy and the senior were both soaked in sweat, as the temperature had reached nearly 30 degrees Celsius. In addition, there was no water in the car.

The police learned that it would take over an hour to retrieve a key and return to the car in time to save the two trapped occupants who were in distress. With that in mind, police smashed the window of the car after receiving consent to do so from the driver's elder sister. She later arrived on the scene as the boy and the senior were pulled from the car.

The driver was the mother of the boy and the daughter of the senior. The driver had a quarrel with her mother and left her mother and son locked in the car. The mother then called the driver's elder sister who called the police to come to the rescue.
