Water buffaloes swim on streets as heavy rains pound southwest China

A red alert for heavy rains has been put into effect as of June 12, 2017 in the city of Guiyang, capital city of southwest China's Guizhou province.

Heavy rains have been pounding Guiyang this week, with local roads being turned into urban rivers.

Water buffalo have been seen wading through the streams, while locals are said to be able to catch fish from the water pouring down the street, which has been forced out of the local rivers in Guiyang.
